MD, MSc, FRCSC
Dr. Matic is currently an associate professor within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. He is also affiliated with the Departments of Pediatrics and Otolaryngology. He completed his residency training at the University of Toronto and fellowship training in craniomaxillofacial surgery at Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland. He obtained a Master’s in science at Western University in the Department of Medical Biophysics.
His primary clinical interests are cleft lip and palate and pediatric craniofacial surgery. He also runs a facial nerve reconstruction clinic and has expertise in all forms of aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Matic’s current research interests include facial growth, fat augmentation post-radiation, and long term analysis of cleft lip repair and orbicularis oris muscle function.
